Campaign Management
Home > Samples > Campaign Management

In this sample I have used Business Object's Xcelsius product to general a Timeline view of Project data related to Campaign management. The user can interact with the visualization, using the filters and display mode selections. The position of the window and the range of the dates shown can be varied using the sliders.

This sample appears to work best using IE6. If you have trouble viewing please don't hesitate to contact me at hodge.paul@gmail.com and I will e-mail you the sample directly.

The dashboard allows users to select subsets of data by using the drop down selectors. In this case the 'Target' filter allows the selection of Direct-to-Consumer vs. Direct-to-Physican, while the 'Channel' fileter allows the selection of types of campaigns.

In the display 'Budget' mode the timelines are replaced by bubbles that represent campaign budgets. The size of the bubble indicates the relative size of the budget, while the position of the bubble indicates when the spend of the budget is scheduled to beggin.

The use of the daskboard can also compare the duration of each campaign by aligning all their start dates in the 'Align to Start' mode. The individual phases of the campaign can also be compared.

A more detailed summary of any of the campaigns can also be displayed by using the 'Show/Hide Summary' button. From the summary dialog box users can also open even more detail using the 'Open Detail' buttom, allowing the user to drill-down to very specific information.
